Core Link to supply new broke roll cutter and rebuild of core handling system at Metsä Board Kyro Mill in Finland

Metsä Board will modernise its board machine finishing area at Kyro mill. Core Link will deliver a fully automatic broke roll cutter and rebuild the core handling system at the Kyro mill.

The start up is scheduled for the 4^th quarter of 2021.

The new broke system will get the broke rolls delivered by an AGV directly to the Roll Cutter which automatically picks up the roll and cuts down the board which is fed to the pulper. After cutting is finished the core is transferred to a cart and the next broke roll is ready to be cut.

The Core Link core handling system will get increased core storage and new transport system to the new winder.

Metsä Board Kyro Board Mill produces high quality coated folding boxboard and the new eco-barrier paperboard.
