Mixed Sets

Automatic cutting of mixed sets

In certain cases, the cores must be cut in mixed sets. This means that the core set consists of cores of different diameters or quality. This is often used in single drum winders, but occasionally also in two drum winders.

We have developed a special software and hardware package in order to be able to cut the cores into mixed sets.

This feature optimizes the usage of the winder, provides maximum flexibility and reduces the core waste compared to batch cutting.
